Thanks for this. You always mention something i hadn't thought about.
You mention about Eretz coming about post holocaust which is not true (this falls into the hands of Ahmadinejad et al, who think Israel's claim to the land is illigitemate because it was 'given' out of the guilt of WWII) it was alwyas in HaShems's plan and the 1917-19 Faisal-Weizmann agreement had already set this ball in motion with the Arab, Faisal acknowledging that Israel was the owner, of Israel (inc. W.Bank/Judea n Samaria and Gaza) and Jerusalem. Even then, Faisal was aware of Islamic Fundamentalists ready, in the wings to cause trouble. However, as your shiur suggests their end is absolute.
As an aside(ish) Ahmadinejad's words of the Jews going back to the places they came from will come true - all will return to......Israel (as laid down in Torah).

To me the point with the Holocaust vs. Israel is that of course, there were other steps that led up to the founding of the state, but the permission of the nations was only granted because of the Holocaust.
